Congratulations to Christie Ray, Tangelo Park Elementary School’s new Principal!

Christie Ray graduated from the University of South Florida with her B.S. degree in Elementary Education.  She went on to receive her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Saint Leo University.  She also has her endorsement in Gifted Education and Principal Certification.

A lifelong educator, Christie spent 20 years as a classroom teacher, teacher of the gifted, New Teacher Mentor, and assistant principal in Hillsborough County Schools.  A recent transplant to Orlando founds her working in Professional Development Leadership Development for Orange County Schools where she worked to prepare aspiring leaders and to develop leadership pipeline.  She was recently named principal of Tangelo Park Elementary and is thrilled for the opportunity to work with the unique programs and the Tangelo Park Program.
